July 3, 2013UK Ministers say agreements reached with internet firms will lead to a “fundamental change” in how images of child abuse are dealt with online.
Firms such as Google, Microsoft and Twitter were summoned to a meeting in Whitehall amid calls for them to do more to remove illegal material. They have agreed to give the Internet Watch Foundation more powers and resources to search out abusive images. (read more).
